How do I know which size to order?

Each product page has a size chart link that opens a popup directly on the page. You do not need to leave the product to check your measurements. If you are between sizes, size up.

Do rashguards and shorts size the same way?

Not always. Rashguards are a compression fit, while BJJ shorts and Muay Thai shorts follow a different cut. We recommend checking the size chart for each product individually rather than assuming your size carries across both.

Do you carry women's sizes?

Yes. Our Neo Ascension and Golden Ascension Muay Thai shorts are cut specifically for women, with high side slits and a body-contouring fit. Rashguards and BJJ shorts are currently offered in unisex sizing.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. We ship to every country we are permitted to sell to.

Are duties and import taxes included?

Yes. Duties and taxes are calculated and included at checkout. You will not be charged again at the door when your order arrives. This applies to all international orders including those going to Europe, the US, and Australia.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders ship within 1 to 3 business days from Vancouver, BC. Transit times vary by destination. Canadian orders typically arrive within 3 to 7 business days after dispatch. International orders vary by country and carrier.

Do you offer free shipping in Canada?

Yes. Orders over $120 CAD qualify for free shipping within Canada. The threshold is applied automatically at checkout.

Are your BJJ rashguards IBJJF legal?

Yes. Our BJJ rashguards meet IBJJF compression requirements for no-gi competition. BJJ shorts have no pockets and are also competition compliant.

What are your rashguards made from?

Our current collections use either a 75% Polyester, 25% Spandex blend (Oath, Crimson Veil, Emerald Eclipse) or an 80% Polyester, 20% Spandex blend (Kaishi, Rogue, Elemental series). Full material details are listed on each product page.

How do I wash my gear?

Wash cold on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach or iron. Hang dry. Turning rashguards and printed shorts inside out before washing extends the life of the sublimation print.

Will the designs crack or peel?

No. All designs are sublimation printed, which means the ink becomes part of the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. Sublimation prints do not crack, peel, or fade with normal washing and use.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, Shop Pay, PayPal, and Google Pay. Shop Pay also offers the option to pay in four interest-free installments.

Can I return or exchange an item?

I received the wrong item or my order arrived damaged. What do I do?

Contact us at sente.athletics@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will make it right.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

We process orders quickly, but reach out to sente.athletics@gmail.com as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate changes before the order ships.

Where is Sente Athletics based?

We are based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Our designs are created here and our gear ships from here.

What does Sente mean?

Sente (先手) is a Japanese term meaning first move or initiative. It is used in strategy games and martial arts to describe the player or practitioner who controls the tempo. It reflects the mindset we build for: always forward, always first.

Do you work with athletes or gyms for sponsorships?
